What’s Included:
 
We pick you up from your DownTown Hotel between 9 and 9:30 am take you to each attraction and eventually drop you back off after completion of the tour about 5 pm. Entrance to all the attractions listed below including the Savannah Dolphin Cruise. No standing in line. Each individual experiences each attraction at their own pace. Lunch at a local Restaurant. Lunch will include a sandwich, fries and a non-alcoholic beverage (or something similar).

Come visit many native animals including the Gray Wolf, the Gopher Tortoise, the Nine-banded Armadillo, the Eastern Indigo Snake, the Southern Flying Squirrel, the Carolina Anole, the Broad-headed Skink, the Mediterranean Gecko, Broad-headed Skink, Diamond Back Terrapin, American Alligator, Gopher Tortoise, Eastern Hognose Snake, Eastern Indigo Snake, American Bison, White-tailed Deer and many others.

    Experience Georgia’s Intracoastal Waterway. Our contracted riverboat will meander through Skidaway River. Witness trails that wind through maritime forest and past salt marsh. It's quite likely you might come up close to schools of inquisitive dolphins that might put up quite a performance to welcome you. You may also observe manatee’s here...Summer is the season when manatee’s native to Florida start migrating north, they stop in and around the Savannah low country to rest and feed on their way north. These majestic creatures are closer to elephants, than elephant seals and are wonderful to watch. Another treat to watch is the Loggerhead Sea Turtle. May 1st through October 31st is the official sea turtle nesting season. You may be quite fortunate to witness the migration of the sea turtles from their nesting locations to the water. Amongst the other local animal species regularly visible are deer, fiddler crabs, raccoons and egrets. During the presentation you may discover upon how we got our logo. We believe in conservation. The logo symbolizes the state flower and butterfly of Georgia!

  3. UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium
    UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium
    Located on Skidaway Island, is home to Georgia’s first saltwater aquarium, it features 16 exhibit tanks that showcase a variety of Georgia’s marine life. Most species are caught by aquarium staff right off the coast. A public touch tank allows visitors to get up close and personal with some of Georgia’s marine invertebrates such as snails and crabs. A boardwalk over the salt marsh to the river supports a nature trail that winds through the maritime forest and along the Skidaway River salt marshes.

Disclosures:

You may cancel your booking up to 72 hours before your scheduled tour time for a full refund. Refunds will be returned the same way as originally transacted. Refunds will typically occur within 7 days of the cancellation. Bookings canceled less than 72 hours before scheduled tour time will not receive any refund whatever the circumstances of the cancellation.

We do not guarantee that all the wildlife described will definitely be sighted. Most animals and birds are typically migratory. Also, depending on the weather, and other factors, animals will either camouflage or expose themselves.

No refunds will be offered for inclement weather.

There may be occasions when a particular section of the tour may be canceled or modified for various reasons such as mechanical breakdown, unforeseen attraction closures, and force majeure situations beyond our control. No refunds or portions of refunds will be offered, except if the tour is canceled by us in its entirety.

If a particular passenger/patron feels unwell or needs to return midway through the trip, due to a personal emergency, they will need to make their own separate travel arrangements as the tour cannot be interrupted.
